Manual Handling Courses

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, as amended in 2002('the Regulations') apply to a wide range of manual handling activities, including lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling or carrying. The load may be either inanimate - such as a box or a trolley, or animate - a person or an animal. The course gives useful practical advice for trainees to reduce the risk of injury to themselves and help their employer to comply with the Regulations.

    These courses are normally held on your company premises. All presentations equipment required is carried by the qualified instructors for theoretical session.

    If you have a large company or a small business with or without Health &Safety Manager / Training Manager you may wish to use the training and services that we can provide due to staff being off sick or because the training you need is out side your expertise and of course it could be cheaper and quicker to use us rather than do the training yourself.

  • Fire Training Courses

    The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the 'responsible person' for a premises to ensure that all fire safety facilities, equipment and devices are maintained in efficient working order and in good repair. Additionally, where there are employees, they should be provided with adequate safety training. The Order requires that tests, maintenance and safety training are capable of being audited to ensure they are being carried out.
